Iconic Nine Inch Nails pioneer Trent Reznor has been nominated for yet another Golden Globe Award for his work with longtime collaborator Atticus Ross, scoring ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.’ The duo captured the 2011 ‘Best Original Score’ Golden Globe for the music from ‘The Social Network,’ and are looking to achieve back-to-back wins in 2012.

These days, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and Billy Idol don’t seem to have much in common, but back in the day that wasn’t the case. A recently unearthed clip shows a young Reznor covering one of Idol’s biggest hits, ‘Eyes Without a Face.’

Golden Globe and Oscar-winning musician Trent Reznor posted on the Nine Inch Nail’s forum, “the three columns of things I’m currently funneling music into — How to Destroy Angels, Nine Inch Nails and film work — I believe will start to make more sense to you (and me) as everything unfolds. By having a few different outlets for my work I’m finding more inspiration within each one.” Reznor then adde
