Marjorie Andrea Acevedo was driving an SUV northbound just past the summit when she hit an oncoming pickup truck while trying to pass a motorhome.

A jackknifed semi truck blocked US 97, resulting in a double semi collision Tuesday morning.

Washington State Trooper Jeremy Weber said that one of the three people inside the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
