Due to budget cuts, the Air Force has refused to perform flyovers at large community gatherings. They are resuming this year, but only at 450 events. The jets were requested at 5,000. Water Follies will get an F-16 but The Pendleton Round-Up was snubbed.

The Miss Tri-Cities Scholarship Pageant invites all women between the ages of 13 and 24 to enter the competition to be held during the week of the Water Follies in July.

We had a boat race party this last weekend and everybody was in the river -- well, almost everybody. Those that weren't kept saying, "I can't believe they're swimming in that river! I'd NEVER swim in that river!" What about you?

At any given time our radio stations have 2-3 excellent interns that come to us from Tri-Tech, Columbia Basin College, or are recent graduates from a university.
