Tool have handed out a few surprises so far along their 2019 tour, and Philadelphia got a treat last night (Nov. 18). The band played "Swamp Song" for the first time since 2007.

"Swamp Song" is a cut from 1993's Undertow, and according to Setlist.fm, the last time the group played it was April 28, 2007 in Las Vegas. Watch two fan-uploaded videos of last night's performance below.

The show attendees who recorded the song definitely took a risk, as there's been a strict policy against phone usage throughout the majority of this tour. However, Maynard James Keenan recently began telling fans to take their phones out during the encore when they play "Stinkfist," so it's possible they've let up on the restrictions a bit.

It seems Tool have been switching which setlist rarities they feel like sprinkling in each show. Recently, they played the instrumental "Merkaba" for the first time since 2002.

Their latest album Fear Inoculum came out at the end of August, and enjoyed a successful reign at the top of the Billboard 200. After two separate orders of their special edition CD, they are now issuing an expanded book edition of the album as well, which is set to ship in December.

Tool recently announced another leg of their North American tour in 2020, which you can see tickets for here.
