White Pass CLOSED Monday, August 12th 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Heads up, expect delays, and a temporary closure when motoring on US 12 trekking over White Pass in your Monday travel plans:

The highway will close from 9 am until 2 pm from milepost 151 near the White Pass summit to milepost 138 at the Oak Creek Feeding Station near the junction of SR 410.

During the closure, a semi that ended up in the Naches River Sunday morning will be removed. Local and recreational traffic will be allowed through the closure but through traffic should use alternate routes.
