Why Russell Wilson Deserved The Seattle Boos On MNF

Since the MNF game against the Broncos, I have been asked by 10 people if I thought Russell Wilson deserved the boos he got from the crowd. The simple answer is...YES! There are two reasons I think he deserved every second!

THE REASONS Russell forced his way out of Seattle, and it has been common knowledge for years. Rumors that he wanted a "bigger city" or more control remained constant for years until he was traded after last season. Most fans I talk with believe Wilson has been playing mediocre to either "protect himself for a trade" or to "force one." Either way, Wilson wanted out for a while and the 12s know it.

The second reason Wilson deserved the Boos was because of a comment he made about Seattle. that was "straw that broke the camel's back" for most fans. Here is the comment: "I want to make sure that I go to a city that wants to win. I want to make sure I that I go to a team that wants to win."

Russell Wilson got an ear full last night is Seattle and I hope he never forgets it. That was his one chance to beat the Seahawks at home because the Broncos only play there every 8 years. There is no way Russell Wilson is the QB for Denver in 8 years. Heck, I doubt he will even be playing long enough to face us in 4 years when we play in Denver.
