"Love Alive"

An amazing track from the 1977 Little Queen album and the name of the 39-city tour Heart will embark upon this summer, with NW gigs in Portland and Tacoma in early September.

It's been a three-year hiatus for the band marked by Wilson sister family issues.

In April 2017, Ann Wilson's husband Dean Witter accepted a guilty plea to two counts of assault against Nancy Wilson's then-16-year-old sons. The incident took place on August 26th, 2016, backstage at the band's show at the White River Amphitheater in  Auburn, when Witter punched and strangled Curtis and Billy Crowe, the twin sons of Nancy Wilson and ex-husband Cameron Crowe. According to seattlepi.com, Witter "pleaded guilty (on) March 9th, 2017, to two counts of fourth-degree assault. He received a suspended sentence of 364 days in jail, meaning he will not serve any time. His plea agreement includes restitution, two years of probation, counseling and no contact with his nephews."

Ann Wilson said, "Both Nancy and I have stretched our wings in life these last three years. We’ve both lived and loved. We have breathed and traveled and experienced life. We come to this tour with fresh energy and oxygen. It will be unlike any other Heart tour that has been. Some of the songs will be classic of course, but this tour will be a new animal...of course it feels good to see people's eyes light up when we play one of the classic songs they know and love. I always wonder how a song like 'Crazy On You' hits the mind and soul of a 17-year-old in 2019. . .  they seem to be as into it live as everyone else. When I think of the connection we continue to have with our very diverse audience, I am deeply grateful and always amazed!"

Out now is Heart's latest live collection, Live At The Royal Albert Hall with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Tracklisting: "Magic Man,""Heaven," "Dreamboat Annie," "What About Love," "I Jump," "Sweet Darlin,'" "Two," "These Dreams," "Alone," "Beautiful Broken," "Mashallah!," "Silver Wheels / Crazy On You," "Sand," "No Quarter," "Barracuda," and "Kick It Out."
