Woman Found Strangled, Burned in Yakima County But Suspect Released

A man accused by deputies of strangling and burning a 33-year-old woman in Yakima County won't be charged just yet. 

Authorities were alerted to a decomposing corpse near the suspect's property by people looking for spots to take wedding photos.

A lighter and gas can were found near the woman's body.

The 56-year-old suspect was released as prosecutors gather more evidence before formally filing charges.
