Woman Shot in Head Serving An Eviction Notice in Renton
A woman is in critical condition after being shot in the head trying to serve and eviction notice to a man in Renton.
The crazy scene happened off the 2700 block of NE 9th Street in Renton on September 18th. The woman was serving an eviction notice to a man at the house when he pulled out a gun and shot her in the head.
That man, Joshua Gasperich, shot multiple times at the woman hitting both her and her truck.
“I saw her when she was on the driveway right here and her face was full of blood, and her hand was on the top of her head” says a man that works in the area, according to reports.
The woman managed to stagger to a local business to get help and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. The victim was in critical condition.
Joshua Gasperich left the scene in a truck but then returned and drove by when police were giving a press conference around 2:30 pm. Police pulled him over two blocks from the scene and he was arrested without incident.
Neighbors say that Gasperich was new to the area and had not lived there long.
