Dick Elliott and Jane Orleman are the owners of the house and have created an art site predominantly from their own play, but it is also a collection of the work and play of over 35 artists.

Dick & Jane's Spot is dedicated to the philosophy that "one hearty laugh is worth ten trips to the doctor." according to the reflectorart.com website.

The eclectic house sits at the corner of East 1st Ave and North Pearl Street in Ellensburg.  Here are details on how this amazing art display came to be:

The Spot has been a work in progress for 35 years. There are over 10,000 bottle caps and thousands of reflectors. The pieces in the yard are always changing. Old pieces decay and new ones are added.

The location is at the corner of 1st & Pearl Street in Ellensburg WA – across from the fire station. There is a public parking lot on the north side of the house. To accommodate the fire trucks there is no parking in front of the house.

You can't access the house but you can enjoy the sights from the street and privacy fencing keeps the onlookers where they need to be to snap some great photos of some truly unique artwork.

If you are traveling through Ellensburg and you've never seen this house, make a point of it next time you're in the area.
