Kennewick Soldier Robert Ellis Died in Afghanistan
Robert Wayne Ellis of Kennewick was one of four soldiers killed in Afghanistan on Tuesday. He was a 2010 graduate of Kennewick High School. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 7 PM at Grace Baptist Church in Kennewick. KEPR spoke with Robert's mother, who stated that her son's death was likely caused by a mortar or rocket.
