What Happened to This Disgusting, Eyesore of a House in Kennewick?
WARNING: Under no circumstances should you enter this property. By doing so you risk bodily harm and/or prosecution for trespassing on private property.
This house off Canal in Kennewick is falling apart.
I drive by it every time I go to and from my house, it's impossible to miss. It reaches out from the depths of hell and commands your attention. "Look at me, Pete. Look at me in horror."
I'm not sure that it's abandoned per se, it seems to belong to someone who owns the properties adjacent to either side of it. It's been stripped down to the wood, most likely by the wind and winters of Tri-Cities. Some of the windows are missing glass and have been boarded up, meanwhile, the front door is nowhere to be found. What does it take to have a house condemned? I can't help but think this house has checked all the boxes to meet that criterion. When I drive by this house (again, I do this every day at least twice), I can see inside.
What's inside the rotting house in Kennewick?
Since the house has no doors, it's pretty easy to see inside from across the street. There's a bunch of garbage, possibly blown in during windy days. There are boxes, probably molding and smelling to high heaven. I'm sure wild or stray animals have taken shelter in this house from time to time and perhaps the occasional transient.

What is this house being used for?
I was talking to someone who lives not that far from me. They knew someone that rented one of the homes next to this property. According to the former tenant, the person who owns this property uses it as personal storage and rents out the two houses next to it. So, there you have it.
What are some creepy houses you've seen around the Tri-Cities?
