As of midnight tonight, we are going back to a 4-week shutdown down due to COVID-19 but luckily COVID testing continues with the CBC West Pasco COVID tasting site going to seven days a week.

It's no fun being shutdown but it would be even worse if you caught COVID-19. The good news is that the CBC West Pasco COVID testing is free to the public.

The hours at the site are 8:30 AM until 4 PM each day and they are asking the public to pre-register at www.wacovid19.org/tricitiestesting. The testing is free for everyone over 2 years of age.

Testing is available regardless of your citizenship/immigration status. You do not need to have insurance to be tested.

Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms, may have been exposed to coronavirus, or simply is concerned about their COVID-19 status, should come to get tested.

Here some of the symptoms to be on the lookout for:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

The testing site does want people to know that Monday and Thursday are their busiest times so be aware of that when booking your testing appointment.

You can get registered for free and get more details on the CBC West Pasco COVID testing site here.
