For approximately a week, through Florence Nightingale's birthday, yesterday, May 12, 2020, Town Square Media honored about 30 nurses on-air who were nominated through our various radio station app platforms. In this incredibly uncertain and fluid time of COVID-19, we believe it is imperative now more than ever, to recognize and remember these nurses, for their courage, dedication and compassion in having to deal with the unknown where life and death many times lies in the balance. What they deal with every single day is unfathomable to many.

It is very satisfying having so many members of communities nominate their front line workers from Dayton to Umatilla, Walla Walla to Iowa (!) plus assisted living facility workers and of course, Kadlec, Trios and Lourdes here in the Tri-Cities.

On behalf of Town Square Media Tri-Cities and Kadlec Regional Medical Center, a heartfelt thank you to you all, for all that you do, day in and day out.

These nurses will be receiving a bouquet of flowers from Lucky Flowers and wine from Alexandria Nicole Cellars:
