The loss of a family pet can be traumatizing for some, but Bart Jansen had big plans for his deceased cat. Instead of burying Orville, named after famous aviator Orville Wright, Jansen decided to reincarnate his beloved feline into a flying RC Helicopter.

The fully-functioning half cat/half machine named Orvillecopter, is sparking debate around the world. Although it is extremely morbid to stick propellers into a dead animal and use it as a toy, there really isn't anything wrong with what Jansen created, right? Maybe there is something wrong with me, but when this thing takes off I found it absolutely hilarious.

In the video below, from the Dutch television program PowNed TV, Jansen shows the Orvillecopter in action.

Talking about his creation, Bart Jansen posted the following on the Youtube video of Orvillecopter's first flight:

Soon to be flying with the birds. Oh how he loved birds. He will receive more powerful engines and larger props for his birthday. So this hopping will soon change into steady flight. For the cat lovers: it is a tanned hide, just like the shoes you're wearing. For the RC lovers: it's a Lotus T580 (still)
