Falling Space X Rocket Lights Up Skies Above Oregon [VIDEO]
If you looked up in the sky last night at about 9 PM, you might've seen a pretty spectacular sight in the night sky. Observers thought they were seeing a meteor shower, but authorities are confirming that it was space debris from a falling Space X rocket.
The skies near Portland Oregon were lit up with the falling debris and video is flooding the social media feeds.
Northwest Weather Service in Seattle posted the difference between meteors and man-made objects falling from the sky.

A lot of observers are describing the incident as reminiscent of the breaking up of the space shuttle Challenger back in 1986.
On-site observers say that it seemed like a helicopter was flying low until the debris blew apart into multiple pieces. Social media was abuzz with videos and photos from this once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. You can read more about the event here.
