Has a Fried Chicken War Broken Out in Moxee?

From the looks of things recently in the little town of Moxee, WA (my hometown) you'd think that fried chicken was just recently discovered. Either that or a full-blown Fried Chicken War has broken out!

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about a new chicken franchise -- Chester's -- was coming to Moxee which, admittedly, has very few fast food options. I was happy to see them come onto the scene and, after having finally sampled it for myself, was pleasantly surprised.

Now, what to my wondering eyes should appear? Still yet another new fried chicken outlet opening up in Moxee! This time it is Cooper's Express Chicken and it is located inside the recently opened Super 7 Convenience Store (located on the corner of Highway 24 and Bell Road as you enter Moxee proper).

Has a fried chicken gauntlet been thrown down unbeknownst to me? Are we all really that starved for more chicken?

Apparently, this is not the first Cooper's Chicken franchise in the valley. It looks like they also have a couple of other outlets in Yakima and Sunnyside as well.

I have never heard of this brand or product before so I don't know if I should be excited or not. I suppose any new fast food option within walking distance is somewhat big news in a tiny hamlet such as is Moxee (we, literally, do not even have a single stop light in town!) so I will, at least, be giving it a try!Have you ever had it?
