How Do You Choose Your Pumpkin?
Matt Cardy
Since they are grown and not machine-made, every pumpkin is different. Big ones, fat ones, small ones, tall ones and my favorite, deformed ones. When it comes to pumpkin-picking, though, I love the pumpkin that is not the typical round pumpkin.
I also listen for the way they sound. If a pumpkin feels thick and full of meat and seeds, then that is the pumpkin for me.
I always make my pumpkin pie and cake from scratch, so I need those thick pumpkins for the occasion. How do you choose your pumpkin? Tell us in the comments below!
