Wind is nothing new for the Tri-Cities but big gusty winds are expected this weekend which could send things tumbling down the streets.

We could see gusts up to 50 mph Friday and winds up to 40 mph continuing over the weekend. A high wind advisory is in effect.

I remember last year watching my neighbor's trampoline go rolling down Olympia so it might be a good time to check to make sure that everything is tied down.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are rapidly cooling with daytime highs in the low 60's and nighttime lows reaching the low 30's.

It's advised if you have lawn furniture, trash cans and anything else that could airborne, to secure it over the next few days.
