Impaired Driver Smashes Two Vehicles in Kennewick Crash

The car driven by an impaired motorist was largely destroyed in a Saturday night crash.

The late-night crash also heavily damaged another vehicle

Around 10:52 PM Saturday night, Kennewick Officers responded to a report of a two-car crash on South Olympia near 5th. Street.

When they arrived they found this white Mitsubishi heavily damaged, and extensive damage to another vehicle as well.

Police say the female driver of the white car struck the other vehicle, which was parked. After contacting the driver at the scene, a roadside sobriety test resulted in her being arrested for DUI.

She was taken to an area hospital as a precaution, and a blood draw for DUI, and then she was taken to the Benton County Jail.

No information was released if any other damage occurred due to the accident.
