Missing Swimmer Sought in South End of Moses Lake
A 40-year-old man from Federal Way, WA is the subject of an intensive search in and around Moses Lake.
The Man Disappeared Sunday Afternoon (July 5)
According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, sonar and other devices are being used to scour the south end of the lake, where Jaime Lazaro Ticorralco was last seen by friends.
Initially, they didn't think he was missing, they thought he'd joined up with some other swimmers in the area and would return. However, after some time went by, they began to look. His vehicle was located parked near the Dunes area, his phone was still inside with other personal effects.
Because he possibly met up with other swimmers, his friends reported him missing on Sunday when he did not return.
The Search Has Not Yet Become a Recovery
The GCSO says they will continue to search the area, information will be released as it becomes available.
