If you turn on the Food Network's Halloween Cookie Challenge this weekend, you'll see Christina Ramsey of Hayden, Idaho baking her heart out. She's competing for "sweet success," a "$10,000 prize, and the title of Halloween Cookie Champion," says the Food Network's website.
Ramsey is no stranger to the Food Network, having competed in their Christmas Cookie Challenge back in December.
She won the cash prize for her efforts, which she replicated here:
It's easy to see what attracted Food Network to the young entrepreneur - her cookies are beautiful! They're like no other cookies I've ever seen.
Every cookie she posts on her Instagram has a signature style; they obviously came from the same baker. But what is it that makes them look so appealing?
I don't have the answer, other than to say they were made by a pro. The designs are bright and fun, and well thought out. The frosted lines are clean and readable. And they're cute as all get out.
Ramsey is equally adept at baking cookies for kids...
And adults.
She can put seemingly anything on a cookie. But there's one thing she won't: Halloween horror blood'n'gore. So, this is what Halloween looks like to her:
