Kennewick police, the Tri-City Regional SWAT team and other officers from Benton County swarmed a neighborhood in Kennewick Friday afternoon, after learning two wanted suspects from Seattle were at a home.

The standoff occurred near West Klamath and North Volland streets, about a block off of Volland.  Shortly after 2PM a swarm of officers arrived, and reports indicated they were using a bullhorn to try to talk the suspects out. After that initially failed, 'diversion techniques' including flash bombs were used to 'get their attention' and the two were arrested. The house was at 4509 West Klamath.

The two suspects, ages 27 and 28 were already on the Tri-City law enforcement radar as departments share information, were located with help from the tip.
