This time Police had probable cause and that made it easier.

Saturday, Kennewick Police were able to chase down a wanted shoplifter after he allegedly scuffled with store security and waved a weapon.

24-year-old Justice Fertich-Beck allegedly stole several items and then despite being spotted, shoved his way past security and brandished the weapon pictured.

Beck fled the location, but Police were able to track him down and apprehend him. Not only was he charged with theft, but he's also facing several outstanding arrest warrants. Unconfirmed reports indicate Beck allegedly had stolen items before, but was able to just walk out and get away.

The new probable cause restrictions on Police also have had an effect on loss prevention officers as well. But now, this suspect is in jail.
