Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Perform specific duties and responsibilities based on standard operating procedures, good laboratory practices, good manufacturing practices to ensure the consistency and quality of our products • Perform quality control analysis of finished goods, and other materials as required • Is knowledgeable of particular scientific instrumentation techniques • Follow laboratory standard operating procedures; attention to detail is essential • Complete and maintain all required documentation for procedures, recording work and results. • Monitor and insures compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures • Perform basic and routine analytical on tank samples, finished goods to verify accurate results and consistencies • Procure all supplies needed to perform required duties and notify lead/supervisor of any issues or needs • Keep other personnel informed as to the status of analysis, lab supplies and equipment usages • Able to follow all QC Department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP'S) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other policies and procedures established by company • Takes initiative to make sound decisions in their work, communicate with operator/line lead of any adjustments that need to be made to bring quality back into specifications • Ensures all tasks for finalization of controlled documents are completed and saved on share drive for easy access • Make a positive contribution to achieving departmental performance targets for safety, product quality and throughput by operating within specified procedures • Ensure that all bottling line documents are completed accurately prior to the day of production. • Involve daily communication with management, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse and all employees necessary in the operations process • Visually inspect products and or operations to insure quality of products and or work. • Safety awareness, identify and correct conditions that effect employee safety, uphold safety standards, notify supervisor of any unsafe conditions • Ensuring compliance to product safety procedures and report and take corrective actions for product safety and incidents within specified limits • Assist with departmental needs and vacancies • Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Skills and Requirements: • Must be able to read, understand and comply with the SDS sheets • Ability to work an 8, 10 or 12-hour shifts or required necessary hours to meet business requirements • 3+ years assisting leads with QC productions. • Experience working with all major winery BoM's structure • Strong organization skills and closer attention to detail • Prior experience is highly desirable including working knowledge • Ability to identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management • Experience with authoring Standard Operating Procedures
