By reading that title, you would you would think that this would be a gruesome video, but actually its a finger-saving invention. Steve Gass showed off his SawStop invention to the guys with the Discovery Channel Show 'Time Warp'.

There are about 60,000 injuries from table saws each year and 3,000 of those result in the loss of a finger. That averages out to about 1 table saw accident every 9 minutes and 10 table saw amputations a day! The SawStop was created to prevent and stop these injuries.
