Manslaughter Suspect Held After Fatal Kennewick Shooting
A 27-year-old man is in the Benton County jail after a Monday night fatal shooting in Kennewick.
WHERE DID IT TAKE PLACE?
Police were called to the 1300 block of West 10th Ave. for a report of a man being shot around 10:40 PM.
Despite being transported to a nearby hospital the victim died from their injuries.
The location appears to be near the Aspen Hills Apartments at the corner of Olympia and 10th. Ave.
When they got there, they found a male victim suffering from what Police said was an "apparent" gunshot wound. Despite being transported to a nearby hospital the victim died from their injuries.
After a preliminary investigation, Jawan Osby was booked into jail facing 2nd Degree Manslaughter charges. No other details were released by police at this time, the investigation continues.
No word of any other injuries to anyone else at the location.
