Matt Heafy of Trivium Receives ‘Massive’ Royalty Check [PHOTO]

Trivium frontman Matt Heafy put out a tweet yesterday with a thank you to the 'state of the record industry'. for his 'massive royalty check'.

If you still believe every rockstar and musician has money coming out of their wazoo...think again. Heafy's check is almost enough to to fill up with half a gallon of gas.

Although it isn't clear what this royalty check is for (CD Sales, digital downloads, ringtones, etc.), how ridiculous is it to receive a $1.31 check from your employer? I'd rather receive nothing and like it.
