New Band Spotlight – Killer Be Killed – Mastodon, Soulfly, Dillinger Escape Plan Members Join Forces

I never gave the term 'supergroup' much thought. I always figured it was a way to sell more records. This guy from this band you know, this guy you don't know from some other band, etc. Then I found Killer Be Killed.

Troy Sanders, bassist/vocalist from Mastodon, Greg Puciato, singer/guitarist of the Dillinger Escape Plan, Max Cavalera, singer/guitarist from Soulfly and Sepultura, and David Elitch, formerly of The Mars Volta, come together as Killer Be Killed.

The band showcases the best parts of each member's career, and the styles of their bands, creating an in-your-face, never hold back brand of metal.

The band formed in 2011, and went without a name until 2013. Killer Be Killed put out their first album in May of this year.

This is the lead single, 'Wings of Feather and Wax'.

Also, Mastodon dropped their latest album "Once More Round the Sun" this last week.
