Avelo Airlines recently started flying out of the Tri-Cities Airport in Pasco on April 29th of this year with non-stop flights as low as $19 to Burbank, CA.

The airline boasts of low airfares into southern CA with easy access to many crowded family-friendly destinations, including Disneyland. They say it's the first start-up in 15 years & hope to garner more passengers from Tri-Cities.

Buck Taft, Airport Director at Tri-Cities Airport was on the inaugural flight into Burbank and had a wonderful report. You can watch it below.

The airline promises low airfares and just $10 to check a bag. Avelo Airlines is based out of Hollywood/Burbank.

The Tri-Cities Airport hosts a variety of airlines from Allegiant, Delta, Alaska, Avelo, and United Airlines to many destinations.

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
