Pasco Kidnapping Suspect Arrested, Child Returned Safely

Over the weekend, a frantic search began for a six year old boy taken from his home early Sunday in Pasco.

Mateo Gordillo was taken from the home by his 16-year-old other brother Andres Gordillo.  Pasco Police did not say where Andres was headed, but a massive search began with all area law enforcement officials as well as statewide and some Federal as well.

Later on Sunday, Police reported both were located, and the six year old was safe. According to Pasco Police there were questions or allegations about the child's safety in the home which is why the older sibling too him.

However, Police said that was not the case. Police said Andres has been arrested, is facing various charges, and Mateo has been returned to his mother.

Police say more information will be released later Monday.
