Good news if you've been following the story of Officer Jeff Cobb of the Pasco Police Department.

Officer Cobb had a near-death experience in February as he had a ruptured brain aneurysm that almost killed him. It looks like after several months of recovery, Officer Cobb is getting ready to get back on the job.

The aneurysm was unexpected and survival rates are 50/50 and luckily Officer Cobb is recovering after being close to death.

Tri-Cities rallied around Jeff with a Go Fund Me account and several fundraisers to help in his recovery.

In an article from KEPR news, Cobb thanked all that helped and supported him during his recovery.

At this time, Officer Cobb is doing "light" desk duty but hopes to return to patrol by the end of October.

We love a happy ending and are glad that Officer Jeff Cobb is back on the job. You can read more details about Officer Cobb's recovery here
