My wife picked up some Fluffy Sand Slime at Walmart last week, and I was really impressed with this stuff. A little different than kinetic sand, this stuff is actually fluffy! Our toddler grandson had a blast with it and honestly, so did I. With more rain expected tomorrow and a chance for the weekend, I thought this might be a fun rainy thing for the kiddos. I have made my own regular slime, but not sand slime, so I thought I would investigate. It turns out that all you need is some good old fashioned Elmer's glue, liquid starch, shaving cream, sand and food coloring. Sure it would be easier to just buy some sand slime, but if you want to make it more a project that the kids can help out with, check out the link below for all the sand slime making details.
