The cursed COVID-19 has claimed another casualty as a 46-year Tri-City tradition will document its final chapter as a local business when the Bookworm reaches THE END on July 31, 2020.

Due to the ever changing COVID-19 pandemic, ownership made the decision to close The Bookworm and retire from the business. Their last day will be July 31, 2020.

The ol' "EVERYTHING MUST GO" rally cry is going out as they will be hawking inventory at discounted pricing, even their entire rows of book cases are fair game for sale as well.

They will be allowing our customers to come in and shop “BY APPOINTMENT ONLY” starting Monday, May 25, 2020. You must call the store to make an appointment. Do not email, message or just show up. Appointments are for an hour and you will be asked to start your check out process about 15 minutes before the next appointment. You can make an appointment for you, or you and a guest. Masks are a must, you will not be permitted inside The Bookworm without one.

Due to a recent computer hack, store credit can be used only if their system can retrieve your credit information. No more trade-ins or special orders, if a special order has already been pre-paid, your money will be refunded if the release date is after they close the doors for good on July 31st.
