Usually when a vehicle pulls into a parking area, or alongside the curb and parks, somebody gets out.  In this case they didn't and that attracted the attention of a neighbor.

Early Tuesday morning, around 2:42AM a citizen in the 100 block of North Douglas called police to report seeing this dressed up Mustang pull up to the curb down the street, but nobody got out. The car just sat there, so they called.

Upon arrival police found the driver, 37-year-old Wilbert Sanchez of Yakima, sound asleep behind the wheel of the sports car, which had been reported stolen out of Toppenish. While searching the car after his arrest (facing possession of stolen property-vehicle charges) officers saw other property scattered in the vehicle.

It included a gun that was reported stolen out of Yakima as well as live ammo with the gun. The car has been impounded pending investigation too.
