Fantastic news from Mr. Maynard James Keenan! The anticipation for new Tool and A Perfect Circle material has left countless Keenan fans shivering in the fetal position. However, the singer has just hinted at news that Tool fans have been waiting for with bated breath.

A Perfect Circle have just announced the upcoming release of the box set 'A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo.' The new offering will include a live CD/DVD and a bunch of other goodies including lithographs signed by vocalist Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel.

Although Maynard James Keenan no longer writes a bi-weekly column for the Phoenix New Times, the Tool / A Perfect Circle / Puscifer vocalist recently spoke to the publication about a ton of different topics. Keenan not only gives extra details on Puscifer's upcoming EP, 'Donkey Punch the Night,' but info on his upcoming autobiography and the overall state of the music industry.

Longtime A Perfect Circle drummer Josh Freese has announced his departure from the band. The group performed a handful of shows in 2011, but Freese was unable to accompany APC due to a scheduling conflict concerning Weezer, with whom Freese was touring member of from 2009-2012. Freese now seems to have other priorities, as he officially announced his exit from APC earlier today (Oct. 2).
