Rock ‘n’ roll boys Buckcherry are back, and they’re hitting the road this spring on a headlining jaunt with support from ‘American Idol’ guy James Durbin and fellow hard rockers Redlight King. The tour kicks off April 21 in San Antonio, Texas.

Buckcherry are working on their latest album and offered not one but two video diaries of the process. The band provided an in-depth, keyhole look at the crafting of songs. They didn’t hide some of the frustrations and arguments that are a result of making music with other creative people. This footage makes you feel like part of the gang.

Dec. 28 marks the second anniversary of the death of Avenged Sevenfold drummer The Rev. The stickman, born James Sullivan, died at the age of 28, due to an accidental overdose of a mixture of prescription drugs. An enlarged heart was suggested as another thing that could have factored into the kit minder’s tragic and untimely death.

It was only last year that Buckcherry was rocking ‘All Night Long’ — but according to an interview the band recently conducted while in the UK for the 2011 Download Festival, they’re already at work on their next album. “Things are coming along good, we’re having fun and we’ve got around five demos wrapped up but it’s still very early and we need to get everyone in a room and just jam,” said vocal
