The internet backlash about the Xbox One did not fall on deaf ears as Don Mattrick, President of Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft announced today that "an internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games" and that you will continue to be able to "trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today."

Microsoft will be releasing their next generation gaming console in the near future, and will possibly announce the release date this June for the Xbox 720. With already developed add-on devices like the Kinect bringing gamers into the virtual world that they are playing, a new development, still in the research  stage, called IllumiRoom may take that game immersion to the next level.
