Former Tri-City Americans and current Montreal Canadiens Goaltender Carey Price is a man. Plain and simple. Tonight, the former Ams star took a skate to the face from teammate Jared Tinordia, knocking out two of his bottom teeth. After falling to the ground for a few moments, Price proceeded to yank out the teeth and skate over to the bench, calmly placing his teeth in the team trainer's hand... R

Fresh off a season that saw him teamed up with Justin Feser for big efforts on and off the ice, Mitch Topping will wear the "C" on his jersey next season.

Make it a 97 Rock The Rink Night at the Toyota Center and all the celebrities decided to show up. Supermodel Rachel Hunter wanted to see how 97 Rock does it and was spotted in the stands tonight for game 4 of the WHL playoffs between the Tri-City Americans and the Spokane Chiefs.

For the 3rd straight season, the Tri-City Americans will open the WHL playoffs vs. their I-90 rivals, the Spokane Chiefs.  But it won't matter who finishes 4th or 5th in the Western Conference.

The Tri-City Americans are teaming with Fred Meyer to present the 8th annual Pink Ice Night for Breast Cancer Awareness on Friday, Feb. 22 at the Toyota Center as they take on Everett.

The Tri-City Americans lost last night to the Victoria Royals 5-3 but we did get a win at something, the only fight that took place.

It's not often that the goalies get to throw down, especially in a WHL game, but that's what happened this weekend at Rexall Place in Edmonton as the Oil Kings hosted the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Former Tri-City Americans Goaltender Ty Rimmer, who was traded to Lethbridge during this last off-season, dropped the gloves and had a go with Oil Kings goalie Laurent Brossoit.

ROOT Sports has just announced a 6-game WHL broadcast (two per month) in January, February and March.

Some of us have dreamt of hitting a hole in one in golf. Some of us HAVE hit a hole in one(NOT THIS GUY). But I can bet that every single one of us would love to hit a hole in one during a golf tournament where the prize for hitting the amazing shot is a $50,000 brand new car.
