According to the National UFO Reporting Center, residents of Washington State have reported 6885 UFOs since the reporting center was founded in 1974. That’s an average of 143 reports a year in Washington. Only California and Florida have more.
Since August 1, 2022, there have been 20 UFO sightings reported in Washington. Which is slightly above average, and it’s not surprising, as Washington ranks number one in the nation for UFO sightings.
The joke resulted in a southern Idaho visit from the Army and FBI four days after the alleged Rosewell incident, on July 11. The story didn't get much exposure outside of Idaho.
A southwest Idaho student shared a photograph of an image captured in the sky near Boise that shows a bright, round, unidentifiable object. The individual contacted the National UFO Reporting Center and filed a report.
In the report, the witness says five "orange orbs" were seen "farting around" in the sky above the base. At one point the witness says a Mountain Home Airforce Base fighter jet chased one of the objects out of the area.
A Pocatello area resident recently contacted the National UFO Reporting Center after witnessing an unexplained object interacting with some helicopters last week. The witness claims to have watched the ordeal take place for close to 30-minutes.
