Friday morning, two Richland juvenile teens were arrested following a car theft and crash moments later.

Police responded to 309 Catskill Ave. for a report of this red Subaru having hit a home. Just moments earlier, it had been reported stolen at Leslie Groves Park around 10:30am. The occupants had taken the vehicle and were headed West towards town in residential neighborhoods when they lost control and crashed. It's likely neither of them had any driving experience.

Police say two teen girls were arrested in conjunction with the incident, and released to custody of parents pending the formal filing of charges. According to police, the damage to the home and the vehicle are "substantial."
