A couple weeks ago I wrote about a "Comic Crawl" that I along with my friend Chris Murray did. It was great, I spent a lot of money, good times were had by all (except my bank account). You maybe asking yourself, what's a "comic crawl"? Well, if you've heard the term "Pub Crawl", then you have a good idea. If you have NO IDEA what a pub crawl is, It's where you and a buddy (possibly several) start your night off at a bar, then you drink and move onto another bar. Then you drink, move on to another bar. Then you drink and move onto another bar. 2 weeks later you wonder why you're broke and have several weird voicemails. Well, a comic crawl is kind of the same thing, only difference, less booze & more money spent. Oh it's called a crawl in both instances because you end up on your knees. In the pub version, it's because you're too drunk to walk, in the comics it's because you're 39 years old, and your begging your wife for forgiveness because you spent WAAAAAAY too much money! Last time we hit some shops in Federal Way, Tacoma & Ellensburg. This time we took aim at Tri-Cities!

We ended up hitting 4 stops on this crawl. 3 in Tri-Cities and then one in Yakima. Our first stop was at Barnes & Noble inside the Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick. Wasn't really originally meant to be on the crawl, but we had to use the bathroom, and they do have a decent selection of graphic novels and an assortment of nerdy stuff. No pictures were allowed in the store... their loss.

After "refreshing" we hit up a store that was packed to the ceiling. Infinite Frontiers Collectibles was amazing! The only problem with this store that has been in business for over 35 years, is it has too much stuff! Being a rounder individual, I definitely felt like Pac-Man in that store. So much stuff, I know for a fact I didn't even see a quarter of the treasure that Infinite Frontiers has! I did pick up a Hellblazer/Constantine book as well as a hardcover of Batman & The Shadow graphic novel that I had been searching for!

Next up in "COMIC CRAWL PART II" was an amazing store that I've heard of many times, but never got the chance to visit. Man, what have I been missing! The store is called Adventures Underground, and they got over $100 out of me. No matter your nerd fetish, this store located in Richland has got it, and a bunch of it for that matter! Books, Toys, Statues, Games, even a whole room dedicated to vinyl! We spent over an hour in that store, and I'm sure I wasn't able to check out everything I wanted to.

Last but not least on our 2nd Comic Crawl, was the store that I've loved and frequented for many years. Right here in our own backyard of Yakima, Ron's Coin & Collectables. They get my money every week for New Comic Book Day, so as part of the crawl, I just picked up my "file".

We're already planning our next comic crawl, this time to the east side of Washington state, probably the Spokane area! That'll happen just as soon as my wallet heals and I get permission from my wife!
