Tri-Cities Cancer Center Kicks off Annual Awareness Event Tonight
The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is encouraging the entire community to come out for their free annual awareness event to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month - “Let’s Make Pink Just Another Color”!
The TCCC is shaking things up a bit with four different kick-off events around town starting at 6 PM tonight.
Stop by these locations around the Tri-Cities: HAPO Business Complex, TSP Bakeshop West Richland, Columbia Center Mall, John Dam Plaza, and the Pasco Farmers Market.
Attendees will learn about TCCC's nationally accredited NAPBC Breast Center, self-exams, ways to reduce their overall cancer risk, clinical trials, and their Survivorship Program created to help patients achieve the highest quality of life after treatment.
There will also be fun treats, as well as free commemorative t-shirts to the first 20 people at each of the locations.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women, excluding skin cancer and is the second leading cause of cancer-related death of women.
That’s why the Tri-Cities Cancer Center holds this annual awareness event to raise awareness about getting yourself examined yearly.
