U.S. District Judge Salvador Mendoza Jr. sentenced Finley on May 31st.

The crash occurred on May 7th, 2019 near the intersection of Highway 97 and Larue Road, south of Toppenish. Just after 4 am, Finley sped through a stop sign and collided with an oncoming semi. 4 passengers were killed in the crash and another was critically injured. First responders found alcohol containers at the scene and believed the driver was under the influence.

Finley admitted he saw the stop sign and the semi.

He told Police he wanted to beat the truck through the intersection. Lab results from blood drawn taken 5 hours later confirmed that alcohol, cocaine, and THC were present in Finley's system. Finley admitted that he was the driver and that he and his passengers were drinking at the time of the collision.

Following his 57-month prison stay, Finley will be under federal supervision for 3 years.
