When I think of a state that has the MOST fun, I'm thinking about California, Florida, Hawaii, New York, New Orleans, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands (U.S. Territories count, too!). I don't necessarily think of Nevada, Colorado, or Texas, Minnesota, or Pennsylvania!

I must be missing out on the memo because I am definitely not thinking about Colorado nor Pennsylvania for letting the good times roll. A survey from Wallet Hub says people in Washington rank our state amongst the highest for having the most fun. It could be the scenery or the people. The vibe is generally great here, so why not list WA as one of the most fun states in the country!

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of fun things to do in say, Denver, but those "fun outings" take 1/3rd of the time. The other 2/3rds are spent waiting on your friends to come down off those Colorado slopes. You might even think about that movie, The Sixth Sense being filmed out there, (because I said so). That is sure to bring down the mood.

There are plenty of fun things to do here in WA that will lift up your spirits. You can go skiing or skateboarding, floating down the river, kayaking, sightseeing, whale watching, fishing, sleeping in, being a foodie, dancing the night away, you name it. You could also tour around the other gorgeous parts of the state to get a feel for the land. If limited outdoor sports isn't your thing, you could try those baby steps to scary adulthood by going zip lining (my friend Dionna keeps asking me to do it with her; I just might do it).

If you get yourself a discover pass, you can do what me and Willow decided on: buy a new(er) car and go traveling around the state.

It's time to have some fun this summer. That's your "homework assignment."
