All has been quiet in the Papa Roach camp since they entered the studio back in November start working on their new disc but singer Jacoby Shaddix recently emerged for a special performance.

Shaddix, who can be heard singing an acoustic version of the Papa Roach hit ‘Scars’ from their 2004 release ‘Getting Away With Murder’ in the video below, performed on The Vinnie Langdon Show at the 25th annual Solano Wine & Food Jubilee on April 27 in Vacaville, Calif. According to their website, the event was a benefit for the programs of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement.

Shaddix, heavily involved in local charitable organizations, talked about giving back in a past interview with Loudwire, “It’s a good experience; I think giving back and service to others is one of the highest callings to being a human being.”

As for the new Papa Roach record, no word on the status just yet but Shaddix said upon entering the studio that they’re hoping to make the album of their career.
