Watch the Vista Field Development Vision Take Shape in This Video

"At Vista Field, the Port of Kennewick is creating a regional town center featuring urban lifestyle amenities...." begins the video showing the ongoing development that was once Vista Field in Kennewick.

Following a community minded master plan, the Port of Kennewick foresees new jobs, housing options, civic amenities, entertainment and recreational opportunities.

The first phase of the infrastructure work is nearly complete with roads, utilities, planted trees and civic spaces taking shape and soon about 20 acres will be ready for private development.

Access from Deschutes Ave. to Grandridge Blvd. will be highlighted by a tree lined linear park and a "signature water feature", plus a fountain, pond and wide pedestrian sidewalks leading to a commercial plaza.

Once the phase one money from private developers starts to flow in, next, the coming phases can be implemented using those funds to power the next development phase, and so on, until the entire 103 acre area is utilized adding approximately $500 million to the tax base at build out.
