Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, the USS Normandy (CG-60) is conducting maritime security operations as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. The cruiser was awarded the title "Most Tomahawks shot by a U.S. Navy Cruiser" in 1998. She is named for the World War II battle that began and continued on after D-Day.
