2012 Daytona 500 To Use Kate Upton To Start Engines

The 2012 Daytona 500 will use Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton, actress Jane Lynch and ‘The Three Stooges’ as its grand marshals for Sunday’s race. Upton and Lynch, along with Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos and Will Sasso, star in the upcoming film: ‘The Three Stooges,’ which premieres April 13. As grand marshals of the rain-delayed 2012 Daytona 500, the actors will give the command for “Drivers, start your engines,” when it is ready to start.

Let’s face it, Kate Upton jump starts the ‘engine’ of most guys without a word. The cover girl of Sports Illustrated’s most recent swimsuit issue, Upton has made stops on TV talk shows, ‘Saturday Night Live’ and several other media outlets. We aren’t sick of seeing pictures of her.

And, no: Kate Upton is not playing a stooge named Curvy; she gets to play a nun. See?
