I never knew what I was missing before I started working from home. My wife has been doing it for close to two years, but I never bought the hype. "Don't you miss gathering around the water cooler or unsolicited visits to your office?" I would ask. But the longer I've been working from home, the more I enjoy it. I actually kind of hope it becomes the new "normal."

There are a few downsides, sure. I do miss the cubicle chats and the "daily tea." There are definitely temptations to slack off around the house. I know my television likes to give me seductive glances from time to time. But overall, I've felt more productive. Here are a few reasons why I (and many people, I'm sure) enjoy working from home.
